Durga Puja in Purulia and Burdwan, West Bengal by Subir Mukherjee

At first I must say SUBHO BIJOYA . This year I have enjoyed Durga PUJA in West Bengal in the dist. Of Purulia and Burdwan. I have gathered a great experience during the PUJA days.

All PUJA pandals were superb and illumination was perfect. I had been to Bhamuria, Neturia and Sarbori pandals. Idols were very decent and I had no problem during over crowded timings. Plenty of police and social workers were there and were very attentive. In Bhamuria . Himesh Reshamiya and Anuradha Porwal had performed there.

On second day I went to Adra, Kasipur Raj palace PUJA. The palace was opened during those three days only. In evening I visited Asansol and Burnpur PUJA Panels. I saw approx 60 idols .

A nice feeling covered my whole mind and body, by God’s grace, if I am alive then next year also I will visit West Bengal Durga PUJA.
