Everything is Unlimited – RRR, Mysore

28th February ‘ 2015

2:35 p.m.

Saturday afternoons are usually lazy. But if you are somewhere near the Mysore Main Bus Depot for any random reason, it’s gonna be quite active for you. You will be sweating (not like hell, but quite a lot) in and out. In that case, if you are in search of a cheap authentic south Indian heavy meal to bring back your energy, RRR is the place to be !

Teeming with foodies, especially those fond of Andhra cuisine, RRR gives us a brilliant variety of items in it’s ANDHRA MEAL, making it a crazy feast to gorge on.

It was 2:45 p.m. and we went into the hotel like hungry folks waiting for anything that could fill our stomachs. Some of my friends had heard a lot of about this place. But I was not expecting much. I just wanted something heavy to eat & that was it. But ,on the contrary, I was offered the best CHICKEN BIRYANI I had ever tasted in Mysore. Absolutely loved it. Licking my fingers till the very eat for the raita & chicken gravy was incredible. Mazaa Aa Gya saala ! Most of my friends had got into that “Unlimited” Andhra Vegetarian meal which was also looking equally yummy. One sweet (ಸಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ), Dal fry (Spicy),Rassam (ಸಾರು), Sambaar (ಸಾಂಬಾರ್), Papad (ಹಪಳ್ಳ), curd (ಮೊಸರು) , one vegetable curry (ಪಲ್ಯ) and Rice (ಅನ್ನ) and various kinds of chutneys is all what you could get out of it. Anything & Everything in this meal was Unlimited.

ADD ONS – Buttermilk (also known as “Chhaas”) was simply AWESOME at the end of the meal, making it a completely satiating experience.

BACK STORY – We were a group of guys & girls, and had come to see off one of our friends. One thing led to another and we got late. RRR saved us ! Cheers to RRR, Mysore !
